Puppet Truth: WHIP Here!
It's Free and ready for your MP3 player!
Puppet Truth Consists of anyone I can get to play on whatever piece is up and being worked on! I have a few really close friends that I work with: Dana Flavin, Jason Stephniak.
I have learned that "control freaks" often wind up with nothing more than "credit" for writing songs without the art of allowing other people to participate. It never works out when you try to control other people. It's best to let them do their work.
After that there are a few that I am trying out or would love to work with! Anyway, if you like what you heard and You want to get a free mp3 download just click on the link above and you'll be listening to WHIP by Puppet Truth.
Currently I am out of a band that for what ever reasons didn't work out. I am happily looking for new people to play with! Sometimes it just get's done for you! LOL!
Looking for a: Drummer and Keyboardist.
Must be from Upstate New York area. Looking to do shows down in the city. |
| Influences |
Sonic Youth, The Melvins, Henry Rollins, Yes, Spines, Dave Caram, Johnny O, Ministry, Ed Buchanon, New Paltz Music, Carl Welden, Acoustic Sun, Idiocracy (Great Movie you ought to see it!), Big Sister, Brian Eno, Fred Frith, Saugerties, Area 51 (The place not a band), Tom Waits, Frank Zappa, Enigma, Stau, Smirk, Laurie Anderson, Bad Evil Government (Not a band but the truth), Sobriety, Sound Garden, God, Primus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bread, Talking Heads, Dead Kennedys, Krang, Lenora (my daughter), Julie Ransom, Abandoned amusement parks, and King Crimson. The list goes on at a nauseating pace! |
| Band Sounds Like |
What is this? Charades? I don't know what it sounds like. Classification unless scientific to me, is a limitation when it comes to art. My music has it's influences like Zappa, Dead Kennedy's, some say Peter Gabriel, and for sure there things that my music sounds like that are uniquely me.
I have often felt that the great bands are those who sound like themselves. They have a sound that I was looking for or related to, that makes me happy. What makes you happy?
So in conclusion all I can say is: Draw your own conclusion okay? |
